Fans representative on the board

Do you think it would be a good idea to have a "fans" representative on the board?

The BOD may own the club, but they should act more like custodians.

We're meant to be a close-knit club, but events of late, make me doubt that.
Example being the total lack of any statements or feedback from the BOD, despite one of our worse runs in living memory.

P.S.
Getting rid of Canning as manager doesn't solve this issue.

Which fans would the fans rep represent?

Its clear that every club's fans has a whole spectrum of viewpoints. This forum illustrates that there is no such thing as a settled viewpoint on many things.

Could the board do more at this time? of course.

How do other clubs do it.
It'll be through the supporters trust.

You'll never get 100% consensus amongst supporters, but it's the mainstream opinion that counts.
Rep would present that viewpoint.
