Wow never saw that one coming. Well done to the boys and BR for picking the boys back up after the shocker on Sunday. With Dundee getting hammered as well all in all a good night

Richard Gordon said Willie Miller texted him midway the second half, "This is not the Hamilton Accies I'm used to watching!"

Did anyone else hear Chuck Young say at Ibrox that there was better news for Dundee elsewhere? Where was that, Chick?

Yeah well WTFdo I know?
I'll stick to multi million pound property developing rather than predicting Accies results!!
Well done the Rice Machine!!!
Nice tap in from Oakley and Derek McInnes failed in a frantic effort to hire a last minute fog machine !!!

I quite enjoyed that :D Well worth the 6 or so hours in the car !!

Great performance and while we rode our luck a few times, so did Aberdeen as we took the game to them and tried to win, something the jumper just didn't know how to do. All the players were terrific and if #22 could remember how to cross a ball from a set play, we would be even better. Thought the defence were solid, Tshiembe was very strong & powerful, Sowah defended very well particularly in the second half - he got forward very well too - Ziggy was sound and McGowan had a solid game, putting a few shaky moments behind him in doing so. Also thought Gogic played well but unspectacularly, very important defensively too. Miller was terrific all round, Oakley's goal was a screamer and in reality there were no poor performances.

Must say a particular well done to Brian Rice. Some on here, on P&B and elsewhere are so quick to criticise and forget he's learning on the job. And its clear he is learning. He set the team up tonight in direct response to getting pumped on Sunday and it was good to see. Even if we hadn't won, there was a massive improvement and the first half tonight was miles better than Hibs away and Rangers at home. Really enjoyable and was proud to be part of the 36. Lovely.
On the outskirts of nowhere, on the ring road to somewhere, on the verge of indecision, I'll always take the roundabout way.

Set Sportscene to record on my BT box and it cut out after 34 minutes during Hubs game. Just watched the highlights on the red button but sad to have missed Stewart and Thompson having to give us praise. Did they reckon the Oakley goal was a cross? He knew what he was doing - goal of the season.

Agree with that. Everyone needed to Fit Park.
Persuade everyone you can to make that short trip.
It is such a crucial game and the first derby of the new era.

But it's getting pumped playing a nice, naive attacking style of football.
So that's okay then.

Boffin going to away game shocker... Not to be missed, and they deserve all the encouragment possible. It will be really tough, but we have hope now.

There's a decent interview with George Oakley on the "Talking Football" podcast from Rocksport from Thursday. So that you don't have to listen to all the sectarian debate stuff, his section comes at about the 68 minute mark.
