A few more signings are set to be announced on Wednesday with one of them looking likely to be Richard Roy and possibly the Latvian chap, Igors Tarosavs.

In paper today saying Lucas is going to re-sign. Maybe Saturday was a big wake up call after all.

I heard that one as well. Very welcome but fitness may be an issue.

Lucas is slow as treacle but he's a big presence to have in the air, something we would miss without him there.

Taking on an unproven striker that nobody has really heard of? Accies in a nutshell ;D
Jason Scotlands childrens step father...Sounds like an episode of Jeremy Kyle.

Brilliant news if Lucas is coming back. I don't think many centre halfs are speed merchants. Lucas will do me as will Jesus who is hopefully not out for too long. The best passer of a ball we have.

Richard Roy must have something about him if he's got caps for T&T, while Tarasovs may help Kurakins settle a bit better. Suddenly things look a bit brighter but after last night's result, progress in the League Cup, as group winners at least, might be a long shot. It could get worse before it gets better.

He's had 9 caps for T&T in 8 ye ars from what I can see?
From what I've read, he's only ever played for one club, that being Defense Force in Trinidad? This is way too obscure to be coincidence, I'll presume/hope it's been through Jason's recommendation we look at him or?

If he's anything like Kurakins, they can have him.
I guess they're hoping some people don't get the deals/leagues that they want and end up having to take a year with us.

Richard Roy appears to be the only rumoured signing as it stands as Tarosavs has fell through , Lucas signing would be a massive boost for us but we're still lacking something at the moment.

Potentially that's 2 defenders and a striker slipped from our grasp in the last 7 days. All people we had a good knowledge of so not sure where that leaves us but it's not good.

Is this a fact or speculation on your part?

Well if my private messages between myself and Lucas are true then I would say fact. kind of got to know the big fella and he was great with my kids giving them his shin pads and advise for there football and plenty pics as he was there favourite player. I will miss my anytime scorer now. always seemed to get 14/1

The lack of new players is very very disheartening. Raith Rovers get two new strikers that I would have snapped your hand off for. Clarkston is scoring goals at ST M again some one we should have been looking at, But we have Alex O goals and no one else.

Lucas today signed for a club in Portugal. Why the fuck would we let someone with such an aerial presence go? The defensive situation is an abomination.

Also, St Mirren have somehow managed to get Lawrence Shankland back on loan from Aberdeen as well as the highly rated Walsh from Rangers. We should not be too proud to look for a young loanee from those clubs.

See Ian McCall was saying after their midweek defeat that they are miles away and need about five players. What does that say about our pre season? St Mirren 11/4 with Boylesports, very tempting.

After 18 months of Canning, it's getting harder and harder to support this club, when the club is not supporting it's team to reach their full potential. Interests in the 'community' are riding shotgun instead of the Football team.
