Also reported on the BBC website. An very fine piece of work by the management, and an interesting show of loyalty by the players, indicating that they consider it well worth committing to the club in that way.
Clearly it will also enhance their transfer value, so it is probably canny work by all parties.

It's fantastic news, and at the right time as well. There's nothing that unsettles players more than knowing that one or two of your team mates might be off in the next transfer window. Continuity and stability breed off each other. It will settle everybody down. We know that nearly all players leave eventually, but at least it means that transfer fees are going to rise with the length of the contracts.
