BREAKING: A second Hamilton Accies deal collapses

I am not quite sure how Hamilton Accies are going about their transfer business. There has to be an easier way than this.

Having recently cancelled the contract they had in place with Spanish striker Salva Chamorro, Accies look like having lost out on Macedonian defender Gjoko Zajkov.

The 20 year old Macedonian under-21 internationalist has returned to French side Rennes without a deal due to red tape issues.

“I came in and did well during my 3 days at Hamilton however I have been told that there would be an issue obtaining a work permit so I do not think the move can happen,” he said, before adding: “It is disappointing.”

One more deal like this and I am starting up a support group.

Meanwhile in the real world:

"With the boy from Rennes we knew there was a high percentage that it wouldn't happen, but on the off-chance it would we had a look to see if we could get it sorted," explained Canning.

"But we knew it was going to be a difficult process and that's the way it turned out.
