World class Goal Keeping the post bad finishing, luck! What ever it was we did not score.

That was a game we should have taken 3 points! The starting team on paper looked like it could have played all day and not scored!

Yes we have got a lot of new faces but no one that we know can score goals and make the difference. I hope some of the new boys can be the player that gets the goals and give the team the life that we got with #22.

Rory Loy was that player!

Well on paper we had a player who scored 11 goals last year and I would not be surprised if he scored more goals that Loy this season.

Loy was apparently the answer last season, but I don't remember too many 'look at what Loy did today' type posts.

If the club had less people looking at things on paper and more at the game we might be able to double our wage structure and hand out multi year year contracts to injury prone players as well.

In terms of not the strongest team than perhaps Dazza would have played; but right wing is a strange one. Longridge finished last season well after huge periods of disappointment - so in that respect not surprised to see him start. Redmond, whom he replaced in the team is not strong, interested or fit enough for 90 mins and has hardly featured in pre- season. Up front, Nade was fine and certainly looked better than Morris and Chamorro isn't cleared or fit to play.

We need to look at another formation

We don't have the midfielders who will get the goals for the one up top. Why was the Spanish striker not played in the u20's to get fit?

If we lose AC in the window we are in trouble!

I would suggest the club might have thought of that one - perhaps he needs clearance or has a knock.

AC is vastly under rated by the fans, and you are spot on he would be a huge loss.

A good manager would give confidence instead we have clueless Canning who does not even have the nouse to change the formation against ten men .

Please stop obsessing about Loy. We tried for him, he went to a bigger club. Forget Dundee, concentrate on ourselves and give MC a chance to mould his own side. Today wasn't all doom and gloom. We may have won with 11 v 11, we'll never know. We were the better side at that point.

The one up top only works with people in the wings and middle with the ability to score!

That team today was set up to none of that! This could be due to Mc own confidence and set up to not get beat.

Lets hope we find some one who can convert but it is all hope just now as we have no clue if any of the new players will do this!

Does any club know how any new players will be? Do all clubs depend on hope? Goals do separate teams, but scoring them is interdependent on stopping them at the other side - Lucas, Jesus and the others at the back looked really comfortable today.

I assume you are still staying away from games so how you can be so conclusive about set up is beyond me. Anyone with a proven goal scoring record in Scotland will be in demand from clubs bigger than ours; how many people got your elusive 15 goals last season ? not many and one of them just went for over £1.5m
