Excellent news that we have secured big Lucas for another full season. A no-nonsense stopper who won every ball and tackle (bar one) last Saturday. He has slotted in without problem and this gives us three centre backs with him, Mickey Devlin & Jesus.

No reason for Canning to have to play other than in an emergency, and he can use his "free" time to see (and hopefully eliminate) any on-pitch issues during our games.

"Tagliatelli", now who can he represent again??

Hope he's not 'pasta' his best and if Canning gets his 'funghi' out and signs a proven striker (ex Sheffield Wednesday's Benito Carbonara maybe) we should be looking quite saucy next season.
