You know the rest

So you don't accept that Les and the board have perhaps made honest mistakes; or that they are custodians and have the best interests of the club at heart?

Why do you do this everytime? Not just with me but with all posters.
Stop twisting people's word to suit your narrow perception of life.

My comment was actually a joke, but how do you conclude from "sitting on a tree" that that's me saying that Les and the board HAVEN'T perhaps made honest mistakes.
Can anyone out there explain that to me?

It's not me that comes out of this badly with other posters, it's YOU (perhaps apart from your mate Gaspode)

If our club ethos is based on developing youth then why does Brophy (one of the brightest youngsters in Scotland) keep getting only 10 min cameo roles at best? If he leaves in the summer we only have ourselves to blame.

Fair enough, I simply quoted your most recent rubbish rather than the specific rubbish I should have. It was all of minutes before but you seem unable to recall you questioning the management of the club, questioning their status as custodians (that word should have rung a bell maybe?) etc.

So honest mistakes or not?

F**king hell redandwhite1874, stop being pompous.
You're like a dog with a bone.

Whether the BoD's mistakes were honest or not is totally irrelevant.
They were mistakes.
Good management means that if mistakes are made, they accept that and correct the mistakes.

Carrying on as if nothing has happened is not good management.
So if the BoD now persist with Canning and don't take the measures required to correct the problem, yes they are mis-managing the club and should be held accountable for it.

P.S
If you want to trail over every single word everyone says, try this out.
You now admit mistakes were made yet only a short time ago, you were saying Canning should go on a on. 14 years seems to ring a bell.
Have you now changed you mind, per chance?

Given the article in the paper, and the fact it was blatently obvious after 3 games, nevermind 13, that it wasn't going to work it's hard to conclude that it has been an 'honest mistake'

It was absolutely a cheap option, knowing that by not bringing in an experienced manager they would not have the added outlay of a decent wedge, and would not have to make any assurances to a new guy about Andreu / Curier etc, allowing them to release one and sell the other with no resistance at all.

The move was money orientated. I'm not convinced the board will see missing the top six as an issue. The extra money has been covered by the sale of Neil, Andreu and Hendrie, and we are in no danger now of having a potential loss from an early Europa League exit.

Financially it has worked out. This season anyway.

The reduction in season tickets next season, coupled with the need to do a lot with the squad now leaves them in a pickle. Do they spend money to bring a manager and players in? Or build a dome for boxing etc(!) and be relegated without a fight. I get the impression they'd rather an additional source of income built than being in the top league for 2016/17 though, so they won't bothered about the prospect of relegation next season. A terrible attitude for a football club.

Yes I have charged my mind.

I wouldn't give him any longer than 12 years now

Still I look forward to you telling Les that he and the board don't know what the hell they're doing

Again I will say to you , if it is a mistake (and IMO , it was ) , honest or not , will the BOD admit that they were wrong ?

Les and Ronnie took over our badly run club and worked wonders

they understandably expected crowds to increase with success

sadly it didn't work out but this was not the fault of the fans who do turn up week in and week out, rain or shine, good or bad

Les and Ronnie are not 'Accies' men but they do owe us small band of fans an ounce of respect and this includes not cocking-up things so horribly that we fail to win the 6 points out of 39 that would have guaranteed Accies' highest post-war finish

Les and Ronnie haven't done themselves or Accies any favours of late but hey ho

That's a shocking post and I find it revolting; you have had ample time to respond maturely but it looks like currently you are unable to.

Glasgow Accie not getting it was pleasing. I am so tempted to put a smiley in but that would just be pushing it.
