Why, oh why, have we released a statement to say we aren’t going to play Tait again but are still sorting it out with Hibs. It shines an incredibly poor light on the kid that he’s been bombed out before we’ve even terminated the loan. My fear is that Hibs may not go through with the termination leaving us paying the % we signed up for. We will soon be blacklisted from half of the premier league for loan deals.
Onto the decision, I don’t feel Tait ever impacts the game as much as his ability should. Definitely something in there but it doesn’t quite translate onto the park. I’d be happy to have him around if he was one of our own but probably the right choice to punt. Is there attitude issues here given the wording of the statement?
