Shame for Sir Alex, but never really seemed to work at Stoke. Hope him and Martin find a new challenge soon

I was really hoping Stoke would work out for him, as his track record isn't the best. Short lived success, followed by slow decline at each club.

I felt he was a bit hard done by Norwich and Preston though, right enough. It was going to be a big ask for ANYONE to keep Norwich up in the EPL, and Preston were doing well in the Championship for a club of their size.

Be interesting to see where he lands next. He gave us a pretty special period of success during his brief tenure as manager here, so always want to see him do well.
