Conference League Vote

So far nothing from the club about consulting fans about this upcoming vote. Many clubs have asked their fans including Partick, Ayr, Kelty Hearts, Stenny, St Mirren and Falkirk. I would have no problem with the club just coming out and saying they are voting No. I think most fans are against this B team creep.

I would imagine Accies will be voting for. Les is still on the SPFL board for now and presumably supported the idea. Not sure if relegation affects his position. Then we seem to be best buddies with Rangers and Celtic p. And maybe we think our young boys can be one of the B teams?

Does the B teams not need to pay 125k to play in that league ? We can hardly affford to run a first team never mind b team , I would say we would actually lose alot of good youngster as these bigger clubs would pinch with the promise of more money and playing in a full time league ?

Sadly like TT, i believe its a safe bet "we" will vote yes without any consultation with fans. Les voted for the equally laughable SPL2 when it was propsed and we have a history of being OF compliant. People like Les being part of the SFA is why Scottish football is run for the benefit of two clubs to the detriment of all others.

I haven't seen one club outside the OF say they will vote for this. Too embarrassed? Spartans have refused to say how they voted, the cowards. Hope their stay in the SPFL is a short one. Virtually the whole Highland League have voted against and most of the Lowland League.

Proposal withdrawn according to Scott Struthers tweet

No surprise that SFA Board have wisely withdrawn the proposed resolution on a new conference league. Clearly more / increased consultation and discussions needed

I read the withdrawl more along the lines of the out come of the vote wont go our way, so we wont have a vote. Not sure this means they wont still try to force the issue?

Only the SFA would appoint someone from a board so inept and guilty of neglect of their "own" club, yet believe they have the right man to oversee scottish football. An absoloute gang of self serving charlatans. What is the selection policy?
