Who is going to give this mob cash at the moment? Anyone? You'd need to be mental to even consider it.

£10 for a kickabout!! No idea who our manager is or what players we will be watching. No news at all for over a month now. No chance of me spending a tenner at all.

I would not give a penny to the bunch of charlatans and imposter, who are effectively running the club into the ground. Have a look at wiki article below for Oldham, ring any bells, the similarities

I remember watching their struggles on the EFL on Quest show. We're heading the same way and I think sooner or later we're going to have to do what the Oldham fans did. What's he going to do, give us all life bans? They'll be nobody left soon.

Problem with the Oldham scenario is half our fan base are boycotting games.

McGowan doesn't care if 300 or 3,000 there,so boycotts are only affecting the young players who need support and dwindling the cash needed to sustain full-time football.

As for the home friendlies, crazy charging £10 for a midweek afternoon friendly in particular. Both games should have been £5 and folk would have attended. Not many will pay £10 for a friendly against the "glamour opposition" that has been arranged.

Clueless as usual.

Obviously, for the Oldham scenario, fans would have to turn up. Oldham had a boycott game; sadly for the stay aways it was an amazing comeback 5-5 draw with leaders Forest Green. Then they picked a game where they wanted all fans, lapsed or otherwise, to attend and that was where they took direct action. It's probably best we don't discuss any plans on a public forum.

From the Lanarkshire Live website

Accies play their first pre-season game tomorrow at home to Northern Irish side Larne, which will be behind closed doors at New Douglas Park.

However, they face a double-header on Saturday with an Accies XI facing Larkhall Thistle at 12pm and then a second side facing Newmains United at 3pm, which supporters will be able to attend.

So do Lanarkshire Live know something we don’t know or has There been a turnaround by the club.

This isn’t behind closed doors as I was at the club about 30 minutes ago for another enquiry and the larne bus drove in. I asked the photographer guy at the main door if I could go in and watch and he said yes but it’s £10 entry. I half heartedly said ‘£10…really’ and he shrugged his shoulders.

Looks like they've thrown young kids to the wolves, Larne have some experience in their team with a couple of guys with long careers in the English lower leagues. Betting scam?

No idea where Larne are in terms of pre season preparations or the quality of their squad but a good workout from us. Still not sure what if anything u can take from that. League cup will reveal all if it’s taken seriously.

Back to reality today. Beaten 1-3 by QOS and we had a fairly strong team out from our very limited squad.

Looks like it could be the usual scatter gun approach and last minute.com to get players in.

Its going to be a long season

By my reckoning we're seven players down on last season - Popescu, Mullin, Moyo, Macdonald, Hughes, Munro and Stirling and haven't signed anyone yet. I considered a bet on Queens today @3.1 but didn't think their team looked any great shakes yet it was enough to beat us by two goals. As it stands we'll be doing really well to finish ninth.

What sort of crowd was there?

There won’t be a lot of bodies coming in
said Rankin in his post match interview. We probably knew that but worrying all the same.

Meanwhile, Queen's Park beat Eredivisie side Utrecht 4-2 in the Netherlands. And Dundee won 4-0 away to Peterhead, who are in the same division as the team that easily beat us yesterday. Signs are ominous already.

Starting 11 against Tranent looks like what could be our starting 11 against Dundee?

Fulton, Want, O’Reilly, Easton, Shiels, Lawson, Martin, Doyle, L Spence, Winter, Ryan.

All is good in AcciesLand 0-4 against Tranent.
Just waiting on players coming out now and saying we will be pushing for promotion
