£18 seems a bit steep, there bettter be decent pies and 3 points in this.

Can’t make this one in person, but hopefully sobered up enough to watch the game on BBC Scotland @ 19.45.
A winnable game for us, if we play to our strengths, force the play into their last third, and defend the set prices well.

Friday night football in December has little attraction for me particularly when the BBC and all it’s finest will be there. So it’s a pre match curry and feet up for this one. Pity as I had heard that the Ayr shop was doing an offer on knitted tea cosies. Can we do 2 in a row? Ryan is back alongside Moyo and given a central role? Hamilton to continue at RB and like to see the flying fin continue in midfield. Hopefully the new assistant manager bounce continues.

Do we not charge £20 to the away support?

Ayr's prices are one of the lowest in the Division! Check the others out!!

I'm sure you are right, I still feel robbed when I pay 12 quid to see us get pumped by a group of guys that had to nip back on the tills at tesco at half time.

So how does the e ticket work? I take it they’ll look at it on my phone and I don’t need to print it off.

That’s the way it’s worked at most other grounds this season. Ever the pessimist I tend to take my phone copy and a paper print off but you shouldn’t need the latter.

Match report here

Two poor teams and over the piece we should consider ourselves lucky to take a point. As usual we can’t defend a lead and can’t seem to score more than one. We started well but then Ayr had most of the chances. Our goal though was well worked. Moyo unfortunate not to score with his header but Lewis on hand to knock it in. Can’t think of anything we did after that. Well done to those that attended. (109 according to Ayrs’ Twitter feed)

And Stan thinks we should have won: "I thought we did enough to go and get the three points.”

The game I recorded, and watching it, showed that Ayr were the better team creating far more chances, but fortunately for us, fails to score on many occasions. If Stan thinks we were better, he is simply wrong.

A point gained, IMO.

Good results for us today, especially Morton getting a shellacking. We didn't want Queens winning so Pars late equaliser was very welcome. Also good to see Arbroath continue their rise but how on earth did they fail to beat Ayr and Queens at Gayfield? They'd be top if they'd won them and we would be a bit more comfortable.

Tough three games coming up. Might be damage limitation next week in the Highlands but no need to fear Killie after that, though I fully expect Tommy Wright to get his jotters this week.
