Accies v Musselburgh Athletic SC Round 4

Not much needs to be said. Our whole future may depend on winning. Must be our strongest available team, no messing around with Todorov. I'm not surprised that we're charging £20 & &10, the club never learns. We charged the same last season v Kelty and only 466 Accies fans turned up. I'm surprised however that Musselburgh agreed to these prices as their fans will be used to paying around £9 at their games.

I went to the Musselburgh v Caledonian braves game in the previous round and as you would expect a big physical team. They were 1 down and got a player sent off 5 minutes into the 2nd half but both goals came from set pieces. There park is grass and heavy so I’d like to think if we can zip it about then fitness and ability should shine through.

If I remember correctly I’m sure they charged £10 entry and I wold say there was 1000 in the ground but I’d need to check that

Att 598, even that is not bad considering CB had not very many supporters with them

Musselburgh expecting to bring 5 or 600 through. Could be we ger outnumbered by a non league team, which would be embarrassing. A bit like Clyde v Jeanfield Swifts last season.

QOS v St.Mirren: £18

St. Johnstone v Motherwell: £20

Hibs v Clydebank: £16.50(£14.50 for Season Book holders)

Falkirk v Raith Rovers: £18

Elgin v Aberdeen: £20

Clueless buffoons strike again in the Boardroom and proves they haven’t learned from last season versus Kelty Hearts.

My worry-if we win(we know our record for disasters) is if we get a home tie versus a Motherwell or St.Mirren and they charge say £26-28.

Did the old regime not overcharge for that Hearts game 2 seasons ago?

A very flattering scoreline and a tough watch. There are three division between the teams. We put out as close to full strength team as we could and we really struggled. They are barely above a junior team and should have been men v boys.

Musselburgh deserve a lot of credit and a draw taking us to extra time would probably have been fair. They kept their shape very well and we struggled to break them down.

We are in the next round, that’s the only positive from today.

Away from the football itself, pre match I went into the shop for a look at the new gold strip and it’s the poorest quality you could imagine. My money stayed in my pocket. What an opportunity wasted.

A perfect summary of todays game, R&WH. But for their miss right at the end to draw 2-2, we were more likely to loose the game. We never really pressurised a part time team who put up a terrific show for their very good vocal support. On this performance we will, as usual, proceed no further in a Scottish Cup run, in the 2025 Competition.

An utter shambles from kick off to the final whistle. Very, very poor. But hey Rankins job is safe so more of the same until our first challenge when we will take a drubbing and put out yet again. No probs, it's not as we need the money from a big tie or anything

Accies Twitter didn't give the usual crowd split, maybe too embarrassed. They were talking of bringing 600, looked possibly a bit less. From the brief glimpse of our full crowd as the ball was punted up to Shaw, pausing it, our support looked much like it did last year v Kelty - 466 maybe slightly more. Both ST sections were really sparse. Well done Serif on failing to learn from last year. And if we're at home in the next round and you charge £25 again it will again be a low turn out, only 1,004 bothered against Hearts two seasons ago. Yesterday should've been no more than £16 & £8 and a fifth round should be no more than £22 & £12.

I thought Henderson added a bit of a spark when he came on.
